As we approach our busiest time of year, we are seeking to expand our team and recruit a full time Production Assistant to assist our Production Team, primarily with the preparation and packing of our sugar cookies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparing large batches of sugar cookie dough 

• Hand-cutting sugar cookies to the highest standard 

• Preparing icing and colour mixes 

• Packing biscuits for online stock and custom orders 

• Helping to maintain the overall cleanliness & organisation of the production area. 

• Ad Hoc help across the full bakery team 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

With no two days being the same, you must be adaptable and positive to provide help wherever needed in the bakery. Have a positive approach to daily tasks and work to high standards, whilst being able to work at a good pace.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is energetic, has impeccable attention to detail, be well-organised, and not mind the occasional team sing-a-long or podcast listening session!

Previous experience working in food production or in a fast paced environment would be a bonus. Please note that this is a highly manual job, and you must be prepared to be on your feet and occasionally lift large boxes.

THE ADMIN STUFF

Location: Bethnal Green, E2 9LE (right beside the station, Central Line) 

Salary: £11.44 per hour 

42.5 hours / 5 days a week 

1 hour lunch break 

Start date: ASAP 

Contract end date: 30th January 2025 (potential for permanent employment after) 

Applicants will be required to attend a trial morning or afternoon (no longer than 3 hours) to assess capabilities.
